August has begun but our beneficiaries still need clothes and food, among other things.
Thanks to the help of the volunteers, French lessons and solidarity breakfasts will keep going throughout the summer.

Before Summer begins, we have changed our solidarity breakfast for a very special afternoon snack. It was a moment to rencounter familiar faces and share experiences again.
It was an afternoon full of conversations, good food, music and, overall, those moments of connection between volunteers and beneficiaries that remind us the beauty of solidarity.

Fête de l’amitié in Hesperange 2026
For the second year in a row, A.M.A. has participated in the Fête de l’amitié in Hesperange. This year, our beneficiaries, with AMA’s supervision, have managed our stand. They have prepared arepas, empanadas, desserts… But, overall, they have been a mirror of the meaning of AMA: generosity, commitment, solidarity and motivation to improve their lives and those who surround them.

Breakfast and Patty Pats’ birthday!
Today we had a very special breakfast: we have celebrated the birthday of our beloved Patty Pats. In addition, we welcomed a few mothers with their children. They just arrived from Colobia, Mexico, Venezuela and Brazil and they don’t go to school yet. So today they had a super fun morning doing activities with our volunteer Mirian.

Ascension Day 2026
On the 14th of May, Ascension Day, a lot of new people joined us for the Solidary Breakfast. We also saw many familiar faces who decided to spend this festive day with us. We couldn’t be happier to spend this day with all of them!
2026 Youth Writing Contest Antonio Machado
Once again, the Spanish Cultural Association Círculo Antonio Machado has relied on AMA to be in charge of the stack for the Youth Writing Contest Antonio Machado (Certamen Literario Infantil y Juvenil Antonio Machado). It was a wonderful evening in which we heard the stories written by the winners. We were eager to prepare a well-deserved snack for everyone who attended.
Solidary Breakfast with the Ambassador of Spain in Luxembourg, María Nieves Blanco Díaz
On the 23rd of April, the Ambassador of Spain in Luxembourg, María Nieves Blanco Díaz, shared her time once again with us, the volunteers, and with our beneficiaries. It was a lovely gesture and we are very grateful for her commitment to our association. We hope to see her again very soon!
